Pre K Counts provides free preschool to eligible children who are above the income threshold for Head Start. For example, a family of 4 earning up to $93,600 is eligible for free preschool.
Many families are not aware they qualify for free preschool through Pre K Counts. And many families are unaware of the range of providers offering free preschool throughout the county through Pre K Counts.
How Do I Know If I Qualify?
If you have a child who is 3 by September 1
AND
your income is below the following levels*, you are almost certainly eligible for free preschool:
